Since 1982, Larry Burg, Information Resources Specialist has operated a fee-based research service, specializing in business and academic secondary research. Serving an array of clients—businesses, nonprofits, consulates, writers, designers, entrepreneurs, consultants and private individuals--he has also worked as an academic reference librarian for 24 years.
His interest in gerontology and research on aspects of aging initially was sparked by his volunteer roles with senior-serving organizations and assisting elder neighbors. He realized that many companies have been slow to accommodate the aging population in their product designs and service offerings, and marketing efforts often demonstrate an ignorance of the needs and value of the older cohorts. Combining his extensive business and academic research experience with an ongoing study of aging issues, he has established genarianResearch as a service that can contribute to the development of successful and ethically-sound products.
Larry graduated from Rutgers University and is a graduate of the Certificate Program in Gerontology, University of Washington. He is a member of the American Society on Aging.
genarianResearch is a service of Larry Burg, Information Resources Specialist.
